Amazon processes millions of orders daily, so it’s understandable that some of the packages may go missing occasionally. The good news is that even though this is a frustrating experience, Amazon has a system in place to deal with packages where delivery has gone wrong.

Reporting a missing package to Amazon depends on the type of seller you used for the order.

Here’s how to report a missing package to Amazon.

Start by tracking down the package

  1. Go to “Order History” in your account to check the status of your package.

2. If the status says that the parcel has been delivered, you could check with the neighbors to see if they accepted it on your behalf. You may also look for the parcel in the area around the house because the driver may have left it in a safe place.

3. If you still can’t locate the parcel, contact the carrier that delivered it for more information.
