If you want to change a Google Doc to landscape orientation, you can easily do so with a couple of clicks.
It’s important to note, though, that you can’t have mixed orientations with Google Docs as in Microsoft Word. This means that your entire document needs to have the same orientation and you can’t have just some pages in landscape.

Here’s how to make a Google Doc landscape
1. Open the Google Doc you want to change into landscape.
2. Go to the toolbar and click “File”, then “Page Setup”.
3. A new dialog box will open. Choose “Landscape” under “Orientation”.
4. Click “OK”.
Your document should now be in landscape mode. If you want to open all your Google Docs in landscape mode, click “Set as default”.
